Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Java & React)

Location: Poland or Romania; remote or office work

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Java RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop end-to-end full-stack features connecting Java backends with React and TypeScript frontends.
• Own backend services from concept through deployment and ongoing production support.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to shape solutions and priorities.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and apply security, performance, and code-quality practices.
• Diagnose complex production issues using observability and monitoring tools, while sharing expertise through mentorship.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production experience with Java, RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• 2+ years of experience building responsive interfaces with React and TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Practical understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production service management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Upper-intermediate English or higher required for collaboration with international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with server-side TypeScript frameworks such as Remix, Next.js, or Express.
