Middle Fullstack Developer (Java & React)

Location: European Union region; occasional visits to the Warsaw office 1–2 days per quarter; a work permit is required.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend services with Java and/or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
• Design and integrate REST APIs in distributed microservices environments.
• Contribute to frontend development with React, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• Build responsive and accessible web applications and end-to-end customer experiences for an automotive marketplace.
• Improve code quality, automated testing, performance, and application monitoring.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenCode.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Java and/or Kotlin, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Practical experience with distributed microservices architectures.
• Commercial experience with React and modern frontend development, including TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and responsive design.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards, including WCAG, as well as code quality, testing, performance, and monitoring.
• Polish and English at B2 level.
• EU work authorization and availability for occasional visits to the Warsaw office are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, SQL, databases, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Microfrontends architecture.
• Experience applying GenAI within software development workflows and the SDLC.
• Interest in agent-based workflows, automation patterns, and AI-augmented development.
