Brokerage Operations Specialist (Fintech)

Location: London, UK office; in-person attendance required at least 3 days per week. Candidates must be based in the United Kingdom.

What you will do

• Support the launch, improvement, and scaling of UK brokerage operations, products, tools, and systems.
• Own first-line oversight of brokerage operations, including transaction reporting, transfer operations, operational risk, and control execution.
• Ensure daily operations align with FCA CASS regulations and support good customer outcomes under the FCA Consumer Duty.
• Oversee outsourced and intercompany operational partners against SLAs, controls, reconciliations, and service-quality standards.
• Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, control remediation, and operational readiness for launches and material process changes.
• Improve process efficiency by using AI and data to reduce operational risk and maintain standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Based in the United Kingdom and able to work in the London office at least 3 days per week.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of operational experience specializing in financial services.
• Deep experience with UK brokerage operations, FCA CASS rules, and tax wrappers, including ISA servicing, transfers, reconciliations, and exception handling.
• Experience managing outsourced operational partners, coordinating cross-functional projects, and applying data analysis to business problems.
• Strong written and oral communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
