Senior AI Engineer

Location: Hybrid-flex; presence in the office at least 2 days per week. Locations include Brno, Czech Republic, and Bratislava, Slovakia.

Salary: €3,841–€5,766 gross per month in Slovakia; CZK 113,308–169,958 gross per month in the Czech Republic. An annual range of CZK 1,359,700–2,039,500 is also listed.

What you will do

• Analyze technical requirements and translate them into implementation tasks for agentic AI solutions.
• Design, develop, integrate, and deploy scalable, production-ready AI agent systems and backend infrastructure.
• Build testing, monitoring, and evaluation pipelines for prompts, context handling, and agent performance.
• Integrate AI agents with enterprise systems and data pipelines to automate complex workflows.
• Participate in code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor mid-level engineers.

Requirements

• PhD in GenAI or a strong GenAI research background is mandatory, including security, privacy, robustness, and hands-on exposure to GenAI tools and techniques.
• At least 3 years of software engineering or data science experience, including at least 1 year designing, building, and deploying agentic AI solutions in production.
• Strong full-stack Python experience with FastAPI or Flask, SQL or NoSQL databases, cloud infrastructure, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Experience with LangGraph, LangSmith, MCP, prompt engineering, context engineering, harness engineering, RAG, LLMs, fine-tuning, and machine learning.
• Bachelor-level degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hybrid work with office presence at least 2 days per week in Brno or Bratislava.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake and scalable data pipeline deployment.
• Data science expertise covering statistical modeling, predictive modeling, experimentation, LLM evaluation, RAG quality measurement, fine-tuning, and GenAI systems performance analysis.
• Experience with AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Cursor, or Visual Studio.
