Communication Systems Product Manager for Combat Aircraft

Location: Getafe area, Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model with 40% remote work when possible. Availability to travel is required.

What you will do

• Lead the overall design, development, qualification, and certification of combat aircraft communications systems.
• Manage delivery of the complete communications system from the offer phase through product delivery and final customer acceptance.
• Coordinate hardware and software elements including audio management systems, radios, tactical and mission datalinks, and SATCOM.
• Make technical decisions supporting efficient development, testing, on-time delivery, cost, quality, and risk management.
• Lead multifunctional teams and coordinate with the Chief Engineering Office, Programme Office, and customers.
• Manage the product development lifecycle through clearance for flight.

Requirements

• Degree in aeronautical, telecommunications, or another engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in an engineering-related field.
• Experience integrating avionics communications hardware and software.
• Background in technical team management and project management.
• Networking, leadership, team motivation, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Negotiation-level English and Spanish are required.
