Radiologic Technologist, Full-Time Nights 8k Sign on Bonus (Radiography)

Location: 251 East Huron Street, Chicago, IL; Feinberg/Galter. Full-time overnight schedule from 9:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends.

Salary: USD 30–45 per hour. Sign-on bonus: USD 8,000.

What you will do

• Review physician orders and determine appropriate radiological examination protocols.
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, position patients, and operate radiographic equipment.
• Explain examinations and radiation-safety matters, reduce patient anxiety, and provide care throughout procedures.
• Maintain patient medical records, perform electronic image-quality analysis, and collect quality-management data.
• Report equipment failures, maintain exam rooms, and coordinate patient scheduling and transportation.
• Support education for student technologists and ancillary personnel, research protocols, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited radiography program or an associate degree in applied science, radiography, or a hospital-sponsored radiography certificate program.
• Certification in radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Active license with the Illinois Emergency Management Administration.
• AHA Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to safely care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients during imaging procedures.
• New graduates are welcome to apply.

Nice to have

• Three to five years of radiography experience in a healthcare institution.
• Extensive computer knowledge and clinical research experience.
• Familiarity with radiation safety and related procedures.
