Lead Analyst, Currency Analytics

Location: Ringaskiddy/Cork or Loughbeg, Ireland; Diegem, Belgium; Zug or Zuchwil, Switzerland

Base pay: €63,300–€101,315 annually

What you will do

• Develop a standalone Transactional Currency Impact process using DePuy Synthes systems, tools, data, and operating-model processes.
• Coordinate, prepare, and consolidate currency impacts for budgets, latest-thinking cycles, and actual results across DePuy Synthes.
• Analyze currency forecasts and quantify risks and opportunities for operations, supply chain finance, FP&A, and senior management.
• Own the automated currency calculation solution and support development of a currency ledger solution.
• Lead training on currency management and hedging while maintaining informative materials.
• Partner with finance, treasury, fintech, and business teams to standardize processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance or Economics and at least five years of relevant experience.
• Required experience with Alteryx and intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Strong finance, accounting, business insight, analytical ability, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of hedging principles, hedge accounting, and inventory accounting.
• Ability to collaborate in a virtual environment, work independently, manage complexity, and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong business partnering, leadership, continuous improvement, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• MBA, CPA, CMA, or another financial certification.
• Supply chain experience.
