Pay range: $48.60–$61.96 based on full-time equivalent

What you will do

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures independently according to hospital policies, radiological standards, and ACR imaging standards.
• Verify patients, procedures, imaging protocols, scanner parameters, and examination accuracy.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and coordinate care with other departments and service lines.
• Maintain patient and staff safety, perform equipment quality control, and keep work areas clean and functional.
• Maintain supplies and participate in ongoing education and training.
• Train and educate students and technologists on proper procedures and techniques.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer certification from ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification from CCI.
• Four years of experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• Knowledge of radiologic equipment, examinations, procedures, and radiation safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently, organize priorities, communicate effectively, and provide training.
