Sonographer RMG Part-time Days

Salary: USD 39.32–57.01 per hour

What you will do

• Perform vascular sonography and diagnostic imaging according to clinical standards and organizational policies.
• Review patient histories and physician orders, explain procedures, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Prepare equipment and supplies, select imaging parameters, and follow safety and quality-control procedures.
• Monitor patient condition, administer contrast media or medications when ordered and permitted, and respond to status changes.
• Analyze images, resolve quality issues through repositioning or repeat procedures, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound sonography program.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with one RDMS credential within three months of graduation; new graduates must provide a Certificate of Completion from the college.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check in accordance with applicable laws.

Nice to have

• One year of experience in vascular imaging.
