Technical Writer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Produce strategic and executive-level briefings, memoranda, white papers, leadership correspondence, reports, templates, and graphics.
• Support operational assessment findings and organizational model optimization related to CISA responsibilities for U.S. critical infrastructure security and resilience.
• Research critical infrastructure, cyber and physical security policy, threats, resilience, and ICT issues.
• Develop strategy papers, research memoranda, issue analyses, and policy review summaries for leadership.
• Perform technical editing, quality assurance, quality control, and compliance reviews for accuracy, clarity, tone, and adherence to DHS and CISA standards.
• Use Word, Acrobat, and Drupal to create templates, complete technical edits, and deliver 508-compliant materials.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience providing technical writing support and implementing operational assessment findings.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience producing executive-level materials, strategy papers, research memoranda, and issue analyses.
• Experience researching critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical security, resilience, and ICT-related issues.
• Hands-on experience with technical editing, quality control, compliance reviews, and government templates.
• DHS Suitability clearance required.
