Spring 2027 Investment Data Engineer Co-op (January - June)

Hourly pay rate: $21.00–$25.00

What you will do

• Develop scalable pipelines to ingest and process investment data from internal and external sources.
• Contribute to coding and data engineering solutions that support investment decision-making, risk management, and client reporting.
• Improve data quality, resiliency, controls, efficiency, and monitoring across the unified investment data platform.
• Collaborate with engineers, investment professionals, and vendor partners to develop and deploy data products.
• Integrate and enhance data ingestion, delivery, transformation, and orchestration tools.
• Assist with outage response and maintaining system reliability.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; junior or senior year preferred.
• Coursework or project experience in data engineering, data integration, or data analytics.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, or similar programming languages.
• Interest in financial services and willingness to learn about financial instruments and investment data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Availability for a six-month, full-time co-op from January 13 through June 25, 2027, working Monday through Friday for 35–40 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
