Product Manager - Order Fulfilment (Retail)

Location: Hybrid role based in Welwyn Garden City, United Kingdom, with 60% of the week spent collaborating from office locations or local sites and the remainder remotely.

What you will do

• Own a complex API or engineering platform component involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Define product vision, strategy, roadmap, OKRs, and success measures for the products you own.
• Use omni-channel retail and order management expertise to identify, research, analyse, and prioritise opportunities.
• Manage the product backlog, write user stories, and lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release planning with engineering teams.
• Lead MVP discovery, prototyping, experimentation, and validation while coordinating dependencies across products and delivery teams.
• Improve product performance, adoption, service levels, quality, reliability, and security, while removing delivery impediments.

Requirements

• Experience articulating complex product strategies in terms of consumer and business value.
• Experience with agile methodologies, ceremonies, user stories, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and estimation.
• Understanding of technology and experience thinking across web, mobile, tablet, and store application platforms.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience managing work delivered by external agencies and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
• Proven ability to solve unstructured problems, define hypotheses, create MVPs, run experiments, and analyse results for data-driven decisions.
