Platform Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in London, United Kingdom, with three days a week at the One Braham office and two days remote.

What you will do

• Own and evolve the roadmap for BT Pay platform capabilities.
• Define requirements for APIs, integrations, payment services, and supporting tools with engineering and architecture teams.
• Identify integration, onboarding, and operational friction and prioritise improvements.
• Manage the product backlog and balance new capabilities with technical health, security, resilience, and regulatory needs.
• Use adoption, reliability, transaction performance, and support data to measure product success.
• Support payment-service migrations to BT Pay and the retirement of legacy capabilities.

Requirements

• Product management experience across discovery, prioritisation, delivery, and ongoing improvement of digital or technical products.
• Ability to work closely with engineers and architects, understand technical constraints, and translate complex needs into clear requirements.
• Experience managing roadmaps and backlogs in an Agile environment.
• Data-led approach to understanding product performance and measuring improvement impact.

Nice to have

• Experience with API products, developer platforms, or shared services used by multiple teams.
• Background in payments, fintech, financial services, or transaction processing.
• Experience with platform integration, onboarding, adoption, security, resilience, observability, or operational performance in regulated environments.
• Experience modernising legacy systems or migrating services to new platforms.
• Discovery facilitation and translating technical or user needs into product requirements.
