CMMS Specialist (Aviation Maintenance)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States; on-site airport maintenance environment

What you will do

• Administer and maintain CMMS data for facilities, ground support equipment, assets, work orders, and maintenance documentation.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance planning, including schedules, task lists, and compliance monitoring.
• Review work orders for completeness and accuracy and track maintenance KPIs.
• Provide end-user training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support for CMMS users.
• Identify process improvements and coordinate with technicians, supervisors, the Maintenance Manager, and operations teams.
• Ensure equipment records accurately reflect current maintenance conditions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with CMMS or maintenance planning systems.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms; HxGN EAM is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, prioritization, critical thinking, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work in a high-paced airport maintenance environment.
• Experience in facilities management, maintenance planning, scheduling, or asset management is highly desired.

Nice to have

• Background in airport, industrial, or facilities maintenance operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory and operational standards in transportation or aviation.
