Associate Analyst (Alternative Investments)

What you will do

• Manage daily alternative investment operations, including reconciliations, transfers, conversions, dividends, and corporate actions.
• Reconcile reports and suspense accounts, validate transactions, review exceptions, monitor error rates, and complete daily quality control reporting.
• Research and process service requests and handle escalations from service centers and advisors.
• Communicate with internal departments and external parties such as contra brokers, transfer agents, issuers, vendors, and partners.
• Support operational projects, initiatives, and user acceptance testing while translating business and regulatory needs into technical requirements.
• Use technology to automate manual work, improve processes, and build scalable and efficient operational infrastructure.

Requirements

• 2+ years of industry experience in operations, preferably in alternative investments.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, conflicting deadlines, escalations, and complex situations.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving and preventing problems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels of management and work independently with minimal oversight.

Nice to have

• Alternative investments experience.
• Street-side operations experience, including settlements, transfers, purchases, and sales.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, VBA, Word, and Access.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• SIE or Series 7 certification.
