Transaction Operations Analyst (Commercial Lending)

Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States; onsite role

Salary: $24.00–$30.57 per hour, plus eligible discretionary annual cash and restricted stock unit bonus targets of 12.5% each.

What you will do

• Prepare and review commercial loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, execution, and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, Sales, Title and Escrow, external clients, and other stakeholders to collect information and resolve issues.
• Maintain loan files and records, perform periodic reviews, and address discrepancies.
• Board loans from the origination platform to the payment platform and ensure accurate data transfer between systems.
• Work with IT and other departments to troubleshoot system integration issues.
• Support regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, policy development, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in commercial lending or loan operations.
• Strong knowledge of commercial loan products, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Fundamental math, accounting, and finance skills, including debits, credits, balancing, and amortization schedules.
• Prior paralegal, commercial lending loan administration, or loan closing experience.
• Employment eligibility verification is required; the role is subject to U.S. federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
