Senior Program Manager (F-16)

What you will do

• Support risk, cost, schedule, and performance management for F-16 Operational Flight Program software development efforts.
• Coordinate acquisition, systems integration, weapons integration, requirements assessment, program planning, and program evaluations.
• Analyze warfighter requirements and advise F-16 leadership on capability trades, urgent operational needs, testing, integration, risk, schedule, and cost.
• Support F-16 avionics, weapons, advanced sensors, electronic warfare equipment, Pilot Vehicle Interface development, and aircraft software upgrades including AGCAS integration.
• Coordinate government, contractor, engineering, user, and international partner activities, including MNFP cost sharing and Foreign Military Sales requirements.
• Prepare program status briefings, support major reviews and technical interchange meetings, and assist with resolving fielded-system deficiencies.

Requirements

• Top Secret security clearance required.
• Master’s or doctoral degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, including five years in the DoD; or a bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of experience, including five years in the DoD; or 15 years of directly related experience with appropriate certifications, including eight years in the DoD.
• At least 10 years of fighter, bomber, or related aircraft experience, including detailed knowledge of USAF program requirements; direct F-16 experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with F-16 avionics and weapons capabilities, complex weapons integration, aircraft operations, PVI, OFP software requirements, systems integration, aircraft subsystems, and advanced sensor integration.
• At least five years of test and test management experience, including software development, plus 10 years of experience with user requirements, test planning, certification, and evaluation.
• Senior leader-level experience at HQ USAF or HQ ACC, with fighter aircraft operational knowledge and experience supporting international or allied-government requirements.
