TL;DR
Junior Accountant (Bilingual: English & Spanish) (Data Center Technology): Supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, contract documentation, and cost tracking for high-density AI datacenter infrastructure with an accent on reconciliations, Spanish GAAP, risk controls, and ERP-based financial processes. Focus on maintaining accurate statutory records, analyzing infrastructure expenses, supporting audits, and tracking CapEx, OpEx, assets, and depreciation.
Location: Houston, TX; hybrid/on-site

What you will do
- Prepare general ledger and journal entries, account reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and audit requests.
- Monitor financial, operational, and compliance risks and support internal controls and risk mitigation activities.
- Review vendor agreements, customer contracts, and procurement documentation from a financial perspective while tracking obligations and payment terms.
- Reconcile data center equipment, maintenance, service contract, cloud, infrastructure, and facility expenses.
- Track CapEx and OpEx, asset accounting, and depreciation schedules for data center equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of accounting experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting principles.
- Experience supporting risk management, internal controls, compliance, or audit activities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of Spanish accounting rules, Spanish GAAP/PGC, statutory accounting records, and related governance requirements.
Nice to have
- Experience in technology, telecommunications, cloud services, or data center industries.
- Knowledge of contract review, legal documentation, or regulatory compliance.
- Progress toward CPA designation.
- Experience with SOX controls, risk assessment frameworks, or governance processes.
