What you will do

• Prepare, maintain, review, and reconcile general ledger accounts and transactions.
• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and support bank reconciliations and account verification.
• Support financial statement preparation and related schedules.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and perform variance analysis.
• Support audits, maintain compliant accounting records, and coordinate with departments to resolve accounting issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in corporate or public accounting.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, confidentiality, and teamwork skills.
• Work location: Shelton, Connecticut, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Familiarity with accounting workflow automation tools.
• Experience with financial consolidation, multi-entity accounting, or financial reporting software.
• CPA candidacy or certification.
