Senior Software Engineer (Java/AWS)

Location: Hybrid in Mountain View, California or Atlanta, Georgia; no travel expected

Base salary: USD $170,000–$250,000 per year, with potential eligibility for a corporate bonus program

What you will do

• Design and develop architecture components for the Workspace ONE Intelligence Platform.
• Participate in requirements, design, coding, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Drive API design excellence, including versioning, REST versus GraphQL, performance, and usability.
• Conduct code and design reviews and provide technical guidance to peers.
• Support on-call operations and improve their efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong foundation in cloud service architecture and design.
• Proficiency in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Experience with microservices and high-performance, high-scale systems.
• Experience with cloud services, preferably AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, RDS, and OpenSearch.
• Experience with DevOps, Agile, CI/CD, Git, Jira, and Jenkins.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and relevant professional experience, plus strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
• Experience with AI-driven, agent-based, or MCP-enabled automation and developer workflow solutions.
