Bilingual Residential Energy Auditor

Location: Remote - Washington; the role is based in Wenatchee, WA and requires field travel throughout the Chelan PUD territory, up to 70% of the time.

Salary: $25/hour; compensation range $23.70–$35.50/hour.

What you will do

• Represent the energy efficiency program on site and build trust with residential customers and contractors.
• Conduct home energy audits with a focus on HVAC systems, prepare assessment reports, and develop scopes of work and installation recommendations.
• Travel throughout the Chelan PUD territory and perform hands-on work across residential field sites.
• Support contractor walkthroughs and bidding by explaining audit findings and the planned scope of work.
• Complete post-installation inspections to verify quality and program compliance.
• Handle customer and contractor follow-ups, data entry, and administrative program tasks when not in the field.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a personal or company-provided vehicle throughout the Chelan PUD territory.
• Basic understanding of residential energy efficiency, home construction, HVAC, or a related trade, or willingness to learn; no prior experience is required.
• Customer service experience and sensitivity when working with underserved and vulnerable populations.
• Comfort working in attics, crawl spaces, tight areas, at heights, and across multiple field sites.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and database systems such as QuickBase; successful candidates must pass an MVR check, drug screening, and applicable pre-employment checks.
