What you will do
- Support financial oversight of SA, its branches, HASAS, and additional EU entities.
- Coordinate financial inputs and deliverables for local Boards, Audit Committees, and governance forums.
- Review and challenge financial reporting, balance sheet positions, and control outputs from the external finance provider.
- Monitor the financial control environment, document entity-level controls, and support remediation of deficiencies.
- Coordinate with local stakeholders, central Finance teams, regulators, and internal and external auditors.
- Support risk assessments, regulatory change initiatives, and finance transformation improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting qualification.
- Understanding of financial accounting, reporting principles, financial controls, and governance frameworks.
- Experience supporting statutory audits or regulatory reporting processes.
- Advanced Excel, financial analysis, analytical, problem-solving, organisation, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work across multiple countries and functions and influence stakeholders constructively.
