Sales Assistant-San Francisco 17 Street (Interior Design)

Location: San Francisco, California, United States; in-store role with weekend and holiday availability required, plus in-home consultations and off-site meetings as needed.

Salary: $20.00–$21.00 per hour, plus uncapped commission on shipped items, performance-based bonuses, and possible geographic premium, incentive, and equity awards.

What you will do

• Deliver personalized design consultations and recommend products, layouts, and styling solutions based on client needs.
• Drive sales and achieve revenue, conversion, retention, and other performance targets.
• Build relationships with individual clients, trade professionals, and the local design community.
• Manage the full client lifecycle using CRM tools and outreach strategies.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and contribute to the store's aesthetic.
• Conduct in-home consultations and attend off-site trade-client meetings as needed.

Requirements

• Design-savvy sales professional with a passion for modern interiors.
• Experience in retail sales, design consulting, or customer success is preferred.
• Background in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Skills in client needs assessment, problem-solving, and relationship building.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and design tools such as SketchUp or AutoCAD.
• Ability to lift more than 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
