Principal Solution Architect (Enabling Functions - Colleague)

Location: Based in or near Kraków, Poland; hybrid work with 60% of the week spent at office locations or local sites and the remainder remotely

Salary: 36,000–47,000 PLN gross per month

What you will do

• Lead architecture and design across multiple systems, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Shape technology roadmaps with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Lead the evolution and integration of HR, payroll, learning and development, and workforce management platforms.
• Introduce tools, frameworks, and engineering approaches that improve delivery speed, quality, and performance.
• Mentor software engineers and tech leads while promoting engineering best practices.
• Ensure availability, performance, data integrity, DevOps quality, and effective incident management.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software development experience, including a senior or principal engineering role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.
• Strong understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed computing.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, as well as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience designing scalable mobile and web applications and working effectively in large enterprise environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with enterprise HR or colleague-focused systems such as Oracle HCM or Zellis.
