Technical Solution Architect (Digital Marketing & Communications)

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $114,000–$165,300 per year, with potential participation in a bonus program.

What you will do

• Translate business outcomes and constraints into capability assessments, target-state architectures, transition roadmaps, and delivery increments.
• Design end-to-end solutions across websites, mobile applications, content management, CRM, campaign platforms, customer data, identity, consent, messaging, personalization, analytics, and enterprise systems.
• Define domain, data, event, and API boundaries for customer profiles, segmentation, activation, attribution, and measurement.
• Create architecture artifacts including logical and component architectures, deployment views, integration and data flows, sequence diagrams, decision records, and option assessments.
• Lead architecture discussions, resolve cross-team questions, evaluate platforms and buy-versus-build options, and communicate decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor engineers, technical leads, and architects while contributing reusable architecture patterns and recommendations.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing and delivering enterprise digital, data, or customer-facing technology solutions, including 3+ years leading solution architecture or equivalent architecture decision ownership.
• Production cloud architecture experience with AWS, including compute, integration, messaging, data, security, networking, and observability considerations.
• Strong distributed-systems and data-architecture fundamentals, including APIs, asynchronous messaging, event streaming, idempotency, retry and replay, data modeling, identity, privacy, consent, and observability.
• Ability to define non-functional requirements and evaluate tradeoffs involving scalability, security, resilience, customer experience, cost, and maintainability.
• Ability to create clear architecture documentation and lead technical decisions through influence across business, product, architecture, and engineering teams.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital marketing, communications, CRM, customer data, personalization, campaign, journey, analytics, experimentation, or measurement capabilities.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, Braze, Twilio, customer data platforms, experimentation tools, tag management, or CMS/DXP products.
• Experience with cross-channel engagement across email, SMS, push, web, mobile, or direct communications.
• Financial services or other regulated-environment experience involving privacy, auditability, security, data protection, and operational resilience.
• AWS certification or equivalent knowledge of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, security controls, and cost-aware cloud design.
