Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager (Philanthropy)

Salary: £45,000–£58,000 per year, depending on relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Develop and implement strategic partnerships with philanthropic, business, and family foundations.
• Build and manage a high-value partnership pipeline, securing new business and growing multi-million-pound income.
• Create compelling, creative, and commercially viable funding proposals with regional, country, editorial, research, and technical colleagues.
• Build senior-level stakeholder relationships and identify new partnership opportunities.
• Manage partnership performance, governance, impact monitoring, due diligence, ethical checks, and donor audits.

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and managing high-value partnerships with philanthropic, business, and family foundations.
• A strong fundraising track record, including six-figure-plus proposals and delivery against ambitious income targets.
• Knowledge of international development, ideally including democracy and governance, gender equality, climate, and the environment.
• Understanding of media, technology, and communications for development.
• Excellent influencing, negotiation, communication, organisation, and collaboration skills, including senior-level relationship management.
• Eligibility to work checks are required before employment.
