Manufacturing Expansion Transition Technician – A Shift

What you will do

• Support Cell Leads in delivering daily production targets across assigned legacy manufacturing areas.
• Prepare equipment, materials, and production areas while maintaining safe and efficient shift handovers.
• Operate, clean, inspect, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment in collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Complete production documentation, support validation protocols and sampling, and raise document change requests when required.
• Contribute to root-cause investigations, downtime reduction, yield improvement, waste reduction, Kaizen, 5S, and autonomous maintenance initiatives.
• Maintain inspection-ready work areas and comply with GMP, Health & Safety, security, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of four GCSEs at Grade C / Level 4 or above, including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications.
• Practical aptitude, reliability, attention to detail, good basic mathematical ability, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work safely in a physically demanding manufacturing environment with frequent manual handling, equipment changeovers, cleaning, and PPE/RPE use.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and commit to the full two-year fixed-term contract.
• Knowledge of GMP, 5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement, TPM, workplace management, or regulated manufacturing is beneficial.
• Experience with production equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, maintenance, quality, compliance, or validation is beneficial but not essential; full training is provided.

Nice to have

• A-Level qualifications or an equivalent vocational qualification.
• Approximately two years of experience in manufacturing, production, engineering, mechanical, or related operational work.
• Practical or mechanical interests such as vehicle maintenance, car mechanics, or engineering hobbies.
