Quality Officer (Pharmaceutical Distribution)

Leafio is building a pharmaceutical wholesale operation that improves medicine availability through a more efficient and resilient supply chain across the UK.

What you will do

• Monitor deviations, change controls, risk management activities, and CAPAs against their target completion dates.
• Maintain the Quality Management System, including SOPs, policies, forms, logs, training records, document control, versioning, and archiving.
• Support batch traceability, Certificate of Analysis documentation, batch release confirmations, customer complaints, and quality management reviews.
• Deliver GDP and QMS training and collaborate with pharmacy, warehouse, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and the Responsible Person in maintaining supply-chain compliance and product quality.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice or Good Distribution Practice and the pharmaceutical wholesale and distribution regulatory framework.
• More than 2 years of experience in a GMDP-regulated pharmaceutical environment, ideally involving wholesale distribution and importation.
• Experience with QMS processes, including complaints, CAPAs, deviations, risk management, change control, and internal audits.
• Experience handling unlicensed products, especially under MHRA Regulation 167.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, communication, report-writing, organisation, and deadline management.

Nice to have

• Experience importing unlicensed products from outside the EEA.
• Experience with an ERP system or in the medical cannabis sector.
• Previous experience releasing products in a quality control capacity.
