HSE Manager

Location: London, United Kingdom; travel across the UK required

What you will do

• Own HSE matters across offices, warehouses, Reverse Vending Machine sites, and partner locations.
• Ensure compliance with UK health, safety, and environmental legislation and hirify.global’s Safe Management System.
• Develop, implement, and review risk assessments, policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and internal and external audits.
• Deliver HSE training, promote a proactive safety culture, and report on HSE performance indicators.
• Lead emergency response planning, environmental compliance, wellbeing initiatives, contractor standards, and HSE input for tenders.

Requirements

• Proven HSE management experience in multi-site operations.
• Strong knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation, including relevant workplace safety, reporting, hazardous substances, fire safety, and mental health requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to lead initiatives and influence positive change.
• Collaborative approach with a strong focus on safety and sustainability.
• Availability to travel across the UK when required.
