Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS)

Location: Gdansk, Poland; hybrid work with 3 days per week in the Gdansk office at Olivia Business Centre

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Agile teams to transition solutions from development into supported operations.
• Drive automation through Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and continuous delivery practices.
• Monitor platform reliability, investigate root causes, and implement permanent fixes for complex incidents.
• Track hosting costs, define optimization actions, and promote secure cloud operational practices.
• Evaluate new AWS services, modernize legacy applications, and provide expert hosting and platform guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing and building secure public-cloud solutions, preferably with AWS.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and scripting, including Terraform, Ansible, or Jenkins.
• At least one public-cloud associate certification, such as AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking and complex troubleshooting in public-cloud environments.
• Experience with Linux, Red Hat, Windows administration, databases, DNS, XML, and shell scripting.
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and technical consulting skills.
