Cloud Engineer

What you will do

• Administer and monitor enterprise cloud environments, including subscriptions, identities, resources, automation, and service utilization.
• Provision and de-provision development environments and DevOps projects.
• Prepare and maintain reports, workflows, policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Provide second-line support to application development teams for cloud services and coordinate with third-line support.
• Participate in coordination and project meetings and perform additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years of IT experience, and at least 3 years of relevant cloud administration or cloud engineering experience.
• Knowledge of enterprise cloud services in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including compute, storage, networking, containers, databases, analytics, and related services.
• Strong scripting and programming experience with PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt, and object-oriented programming languages.
• Experience with Linux administration and scripting, Microsoft systems, DevOps, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, cloud security, compliance, ticketing systems, and ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification is required.
• At least one mid-level AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud certification is required.

Nice to have

• Red Hat Linux administration experience.
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, or operating Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones based on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
