Project Manager for HV Substations

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid remote/office. Projects cover Romania and Moldova.

What you will do

• Lead the delivery of turnkey high-voltage substation projects and act as the primary customer contact.
• Manage project planning, schedules, budgets, costs, risks, variations, and opportunities.
• Coordinate project teams with technical lead engineers, procurement, installation, and commissioning functions.
• Oversee technical, procurement, quality, health, and safety information throughout project delivery.
• Prepare monthly internal and external progress reports and manage customer discussions, technical queries, and design risks.
• Support the Sales department with future project opportunities across Romania and Moldova.

Requirements

• More than five years of project management experience in an electrical or electrotechnical field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
• Experience in project engineering or contract management within the transmission and distribution industry.
• Knowledge of transmission and distribution standards and technologies, including substation primary, secondary, and auxiliary systems.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental regulations, and risk management processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
