Intern, Software Development Engineer (AI)

Location: Singapore, SGP; on-site in-person recruitment drive from 9 October to 6 November 2026

What you will do

• Develop and enhance the File System Service alongside the engineering team, including API-related features.
• Maintain service reliability through bug fixing, technical debt reduction, validation, verification, and operational support.
• Apply Specification Driven Development to implement and verify software changes.
• Develop and apply agentic AI workflows to automate engineering tasks, solve operational problems, and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver production-relevant capabilities and strengthen engineering practices.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with graduation expected in 2027 or 2028.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Java and/or Python.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Available for a six-month full-time internship from 11 January to 25 June 2027.
• Available to work on-site in Singapore.

Nice to have

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with complex software systems.
• Experience working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL data stores.
