Staff Engineer (Frontend/AI)

What you will do

• Own the interface for designing and running AI agent workflows in the AI Studio.
• Build real-time, state-driven UI updates using WebSockets and server-sent events.
• Define micro-frontend architecture and align multiple teams working within the product interface.
• Develop reusable components, design patterns, and integrations with backend services, APIs, and the orchestration layer.
• Improve canvas performance, testing, CI/CD delivery, production debugging, and architecture documentation.
• Set company-wide frontend standards and support their adoption across teams.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building complex modern web applications with a frontend focus.
• Deep experience with React and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with WebSockets, server-sent events, or both.
• Experience with canvas or node-based interfaces such as workflow builders, Figma, or Miro.
• Strong frontend architecture, component development, state management, HTML, and CSS fundamentals.
• Backend experience with RESTful APIs and BFFs, plus staff-level architecture ownership and cross-team influence.

Nice to have

• Experience building highly interactive, data-heavy interfaces, component libraries, or design systems.
• Server-side rendering or substantial frontend performance optimization experience.
• Experience with cloud-hosted distributed systems and large-scale global B2B or B2C products.
• Experience in a rapidly scaling product and engineering organization.
