Assistant Garment Technologist

Location: Fully on-site at Chiswick Park, West London, five days a week

What you will do

• Support technical activities across woven, knitwear, sweaters, tailored products, and outerwear.
• Coordinate fit sessions and sample reviews by preparing garments, booking models, measuring samples, and recording fit comments.
• Track, log, and ship samples while maintaining style libraries and updating product information in PLM systems.
• Work with Technical, Buying, and supplier teams to manage critical path activity and support timely sample development.
• Prepare reports and technical documentation supporting product quality, fit consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Previous experience in garment technology, technical design, or a related fashion product development role.
• Understanding of garment construction, fit, and sample evaluation.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with FLEX PLM is advantageous.
• Proactive, flexible, and detail-focused approach with an interest in quality and fit.
