Assistant Manager, Sortation Management

Location: Taoyuan, Taiwan

What you will do

• Manage inbound linehaul receiving and accurately sort packages onto outbound vehicles for designated delivery stations.
• Develop volume-based labor plans, manage shift schedules and time-off requests, and coach sort associates.
• Maintain safety standards across the dock and sort floor and oversee quality checks to reduce sorting errors.
• Ensure outbound vehicles are correctly loaded and dispatched according to Critical Pull Times and On-Time Departure schedules.
• Track internal package movement, inventory flow, and operational exceptions within the Sub-HUB.

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in warehouse, hub, or sortation-center logistics.
• Experience creating volume-based shift plans, scheduling associates, and providing performance coaching.
• Hands-on experience with inbound receiving, dock operations, package staging, linehaul dispatch, and On-Time Departure schedules.
• Experience enforcing workplace safety protocols and conducting quality checks to minimize sorting errors.
• Proficiency with package tracking systems, internal inventory flow, and operational exception management.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related operations field.
• Experience with middle-mile sort centers, hub-and-spoke models, or last-mile delivery station operations.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous process improvement experience or certification.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems, labor planning software, and data analytics tools.
