OSAT Supplier and Operations Manager (Semiconductor)

Location: Hsinchu, Taiwan; full-time onsite role with flexibility to attend calls across time zones and travel as required.

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day outsourced assembly and test operations with assigned OSAT partners across planning, production, testing, quality, logistics, engineering, and customer requirements.
• Monitor capacity, cycle time, output, delivery, inventory, constraints, and operational recovery plans.
• Coordinate demand, supply, capacity, product ramps, qualifications, new-product readiness, and business transitions.
• Lead corrective actions and structured problem solving for material shortages, quality issues, delivery misses, capacity constraints, and other disruptions.
• Develop supplier strategies, negotiation plans, cost-reduction roadmaps, performance scorecards, and commercial initiatives.
• Align Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality, Engineering, Business Units, Finance, Legal, and site operations while reporting data-driven recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor operations, outsourced manufacturing, OSAT management, sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, or continuous improvement.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor assembly and test operations, supply planning, manufacturing performance, quality systems, and supplier management.
• Ability to manage operational priorities, support commercial strategy and negotiations, and translate complex data into clear actions and executive communications.
• Strong communication, influence, negotiation, analytical, mathematical, and stakeholder-management skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in global, cross-functional, and matrixed environments; willingness to attend cross-time-zone calls and travel when required.

Nice to have

• Experience in an OSAT, semiconductor foundry, integrated device manufacturer, or related outsourced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with supplier scorecards, MORs, QBRs, EBRs, corrective actions, and continuous-improvement programs.
• Knowledge of business contracts, cost models, capacity agreements, consignment arrangements, and supply-continuity planning.
• Experience with new-product introduction, production ramps, technology transfers, or supplier qualifications.
