Senior Materials and Corrosion Engineer (Offshore) (Materials Engineering/Corrosion Management): Leading offshore brownfield and greenfield projects, developing corrosion management programs and material selection documentation, and assessing pipelines, piping, and equipment with an accent on Aramco standards, offshore integrity, and corrosion control. Focus on engineering assessments, non-metallic material selection, integrity reports, technical bid evaluations, and resolving fabrication and asset integrity issues.
Location: Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia; site visits outside the office may be required

What you will do
- Lead brownfield and greenfield offshore projects as the technical focal point for materials engineering, bids, execution, resources, and deliverables.
- Develop corrosion management programs, material selection reports and diagrams, coating selection diagrams, and corrosion loop diagrams.
- Perform corrosion assessments for pipelines, piping, and equipment, including integrity assessments based on ILI, FFP, RRR, and direct assessment reports.
- Develop non-metallic material studies and provide recommendations for appropriate material selection.
- Support OSI, RBI, corrosion inspection manuals, technical queries, material substitutions, technical bid evaluations, and site fabrication issue resolution.
- Coordinate with global offices and support the training and development of junior engineers.
Requirements
- 15+ years of engineering experience, including offshore engineering experience.
- Engineering degree required.
- Experience with Aramco standards and best practices, NACE requirements, material selection, corrosion modelling, damage mechanisms, corrosion control, and cathodic protection.
- Knowledge of water injection, HPHT and sour gas fields, APCS and internal FBE coatings, chemical treatment, inhibitor selection, and oilfield production chemicals.
- Experience with material grades, alloy selection, heat treatment, weld engineering, and applicable codes including API 579, DNV RP F101, ASME B31.3/4/8, ISO 15156, and ISO 21457.
- Experience across pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, EPC, or PMC roles; ECE-5 software experience is preferred.
