MedTech Field Service Engineer - Electrophysiology

Location: Seoul, South Korea; approximately 25% office and 75% field work, with short-notice travel, weekend, and off-hours support as needed.

What you will do

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for Biosense Webster products.
• Install, configure, maintain, repair, upgrade, and optimize equipment within the assigned territory.
• Diagnose equipment issues, respond to service requests, and minimize system downtime.
• Support physicians, nurses, biomedical engineers, and other healthcare professionals with technical guidance.
• Analyze service trends, complaints, equipment performance, and parts usage to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain service records, manage work orders, returns, inventory, spare parts, equipment assets, and audit activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in electrophysiology, cardiology, medical devices, healthcare technology, hospital biomedical engineering, field service, or a related technical or clinical support role.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and customer relationship management skills.
• Professional communication skills in Korean and business-level English are required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, use Microsoft Office applications, and perform basic computer and technical diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle are required. The role also involves lifting equipment up to 60 lbs, prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and use of required PPE.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of service management systems.
• Experience using electronic testing equipment, including digital multimeters.
