NVH Simulation Engineer (Electric Powertrain)

Location: Onsite in Valladolid, Spain, at the end customer's location

Salary: €28,000–€35,000 gross per year

What you will do

• Perform NVH simulations and virtual assessments for electric and hybrid powertrain systems.
• Develop and validate simulation models for electric motors, gearboxes, transmissions, and e-drive components.
• Analyze vibration, acoustic, structural, modal, harmonic-response, and vibro-acoustic behavior using CAE tools.
• Investigate NVH issues, identify root causes, and propose optimization measures.
• Own model development, raw-data management, control-strategy adaptation, and integration.
• Present simulation results to technical and non-technical audiences and identify opportunities for simulation in other business areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic, automotive engineering, or computer science.
• Strong background in NVH engineering, CAE simulation, mechanical dynamics, structural vibration, and acoustics.
• Experience with electric motors, e-drive systems, or electrified powertrains.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting languages for automation and data processing.
• Fluent Spanish and English communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Valladolid, Spain and collaborate with international, multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with EXCITE, ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, Actran, Simcenter 3D, or equivalent CAE tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and data-driven reasoning skills.
