Head of Trading (FX, Market Making & Philippines OTC)

Location: Hybrid in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, or Shenzhen

What you will do

• Define and execute FX trading strategies across payment corridors and currency pairs, with emphasis on PHP and emerging-market currencies.
• Manage pricing, spreads, execution quality, liquidity sourcing, hedging, and exposure across fiat and crypto markets.
• Design and improve market-making strategies covering quoting, inventory, spreads, risk parameters, and order-book dynamics.
• Build, lead, and develop the Philippines OTC/FX trading team while overseeing large-ticket client pricing and execution.
• Establish trading risk frameworks, limits, controls, PnL reporting, and governance processes.
• Partner with Treasury, Finance, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Engineering, Product, Sales, and Business teams on operations, systems, and market expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of trading experience in FX, digital assets, or market making, including 3+ years leading a trading team.
• Proven experience running profitable FX or market-making strategies with disciplined risk management.
• Deep knowledge of FX markets, liquidity, pricing, execution, market making, and liquidity provision, preferably including emerging-market and PHP flows.
• Experience with OTC trading, institutional or large-ticket clients, regulated payments, exchanges, banks, or trading firms.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with established relationships across banks, liquidity providers, market makers, and OTC counterparties.

• Crypto trading experience.
• Familiarity with Philippine regulations.
