What you will do

• Review the economic aspects of exotic and structured derivative transactions across OTC and listed options, securitized issuances, synthetics and cash equity.
• Ensure trade economics, payoff profiles and pricing factors are accurately captured in risk management systems throughout the product lifecycle.
• Identify weaknesses in booking methodologies and discrepancies in legal documentation to mitigate operational and financial risk.
• Decompose complex structured transaction payoffs and propose robust booking solutions.
• Collaborate with traders, strategists, sales, structurers, legal, product control, documentation, technology and other operations teams.
• Improve workflows, strengthen controls, resolve operational queries and become a subject-matter expert in exotic trade review.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Control-oriented mindset and ability to identify discrepancies, manage operational risk and ensure procedures are followed.
• Ability to communicate complex issues to internal stakeholders with different levels of product experience.
• Proactive, organized team player able to take ownership, manage competing priorities and work under pressure.

Nice to have

• Quantitative educational background.
• Experience with equity derivatives, commodities, foreign exchange documentation or structured transactions.
• Experience in product areas involving complex derivative products.
