Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine; remote collaboration environment

What you will do

• Develop production data science applications in Python from end to end.
• Design and build new AI services from scratch.
• Maintain and improve data science pipelines in complex, high-load applications.
• Research, adapt, and implement machine learning algorithms for business needs.
• Perform predictive modeling, statistical modeling, and ad-hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with R&D and DevOps teams.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Python developer, including PyCharm, Git, and debugging.
• At least 3 years of experience with predictive modeling, preferably in production data science services.
• At least 3 years of experience analyzing tabular or time series data.
• Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and visualization.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, production-ready code with strong testing, reliability, scalability, and quality practices.
• High-level English proficiency and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AWS or GCP.
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience communicating directly with business stakeholders.
