Sr. Mission Assurance Analyst

What you will do

• Conduct Base Defense Risk Management Process Assessments at selected Pacific bases.
• Support pre-site survey analysis, mission decomposition, scheduling, and development of risk assessment workbooks integrating threats and hazards.
• Gather information and perform Mission Assurance, Base Defense, weapon system security, critical infrastructure, and protection-level analyses.
• Support Headquarters Pacific Air Forces A4S with Mission Assurance analysis and publication coordination.
• Review Air Force guidance, CONOPS, and memorandums for impacts on asset and personnel protection in the USINDOPACOM area.
• Guide field use of the BDRMP tool, provide improvement feedback, and train installation personnel on BDRMP and Antiterrorism Level II.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree or higher may substitute for two years of experience.
• At least five years of relevant experience conducting Mission Assurance and CONOPS activities for Base Risk Assessments at MAJCOM or equivalent headquarters staff level.
• Detailed knowledge of the Enterprise Risk Management Tool and Mission Assurance Risk Management System.
• Understanding of tactical, operational, and strategic application of BDRMP under DAFI 31-101.
• Experience with Air Force publication coordination, DRRS, COOP, OPLANs, and applicable Department of Defense instructions.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Base Defense Planning, Mission Assurance pillars, protection of critical assets and infrastructure, and weapon system security deviations.
• Security Forces operations experience and advanced knowledge of DoD, Joint, and Air Force Mission Assurance and Base Defense publications.
• Experience as a headquarters Action Officer or assessment team member focused on antiterrorism, force protection, emergency management, or deliberate planning.
• Contingency deployment and joint operational experience, including leadership in Base Defense operations.
