Sr Maintenance Engineer - Troubleshooter (MedTech)

Base pay: €53,500–€85,445 annually

What you will do

• Lead troubleshooting activities for biotech manufacturing equipment and utility installations to prevent or minimize downtime.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance, prioritize activities based on equipment criticality and manufacturing schedules, and manage customer expectations.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead the implementation of maintenance and process improvements.
• Coordinate J&J technicians, vendors, peer maintenance engineers, and project stakeholders.
• Review maintenance data and technical reports, maintain asset knowledge, define spare-parts strategies, and support project maintenance deliverables.
• Coach team members, provide technical guidance and training, and monitor compliance with maintenance procedures.

Requirements

• Engineering or technical degree, or equivalent qualification, with 3–7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or similar regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with various equipment in an industrial or factory environment.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis tools and methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including communication with internal and external customers and departmental management.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office and CMMS such as SAP.
• Dutch is preferred.
