Program and Improvement Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Veldhoven, Netherlands; onsite role

Salary: €67,000–€75,500 gross annual fixed salary, including vacation allowance and a 13th-month payment; company profit sharing is excluded.

hirify.global’s Modelshop develops high-precision mechanical one-off prototypes using in-house manufacturing capabilities and trusted suppliers.

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the Modelshop and ensure lean production processes.
• Coordinate communication between the Modelshop, factories, internal production, suppliers, and other hirify.global departments.
• Translate Modelshop strategy into clear objectives and support operational and strategic execution.
• Lead cross-functional projects, department-wide initiatives, and cost-reduction activities while maintaining quality standards.
• Investigate recurring issues, analyze root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
• Support operational activities including logistics, ordering, supplier tracking, and KPI monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Lean Green Belt certification or higher.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience in a high-tech development environment focused on process improvement or project management.
• Ability to influence and steer without formal authority, negotiate, build teams, and communicate across all hierarchy levels.
• Analytical thinking, initiative, flexibility, stress resilience, and a hands-on team-oriented approach.
• Legal authorization to access technology controlled under United States Export Administration Regulations is required before starting work.
