DS Engineering Manager (MedTech)

What you will do

• Plan and execute engineering, technology, systems, automation, equipment, application, and facility management initiatives.
• Deliver regional and global implementations according to plan while minimizing effort and avoiding operational disruption.
• Respond to and resolve engineering and technology issues.
• Plan budgets, manage spending, and apply return-on-investment thinking to business cases.
• Support APAC countries outside Japan in collaboration with local team members.
• Manage local and overseas system and engineering service providers and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

Requirements

• Experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various devices in collaboration with business functions.
• Native-level Japanese and business-level English, including email communication and participation in English teleconferences.
• Professional experience communicating with overseas teams and colleagues from other countries.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across global, APAC, and domestic groups.
• Ability to identify improvement opportunities, prioritize issues, drive resolution, and coach junior colleagues and team members.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a Quality function.
• Experience in the healthcare industry or supply chain field.
