Material Planner (Manufacturing)

Location: 6 October Factory, 6th of October City, Egypt; onsite role.

What you will do

• Coordinate material planning and scheduling to ensure continuous production with optimized stock levels and costs.
• Manage material shortages, over- and under-deliveries, inventory risks, contingency plans, and obsolete materials.
• Maintain accurate BOM, inventory, material schedules, reports, and planning data.
• Use and improve MRP and Oracle systems, including following up on purchase requisitions for packaging, chemicals, additives, and oil.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, suppliers, and other cross-functional teams.
• Set team objectives, coach direct reports, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, accounting, business administration, or supply chain.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in FMCG, preferably in a multinational and diverse environment.
• Significant experience in material planning and supplying materials in line with production requirements and budgets.
• Experience with supplier relationships, people management, manufacturing processes, and supply chain management.
• Strong IT systems knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with MRP or similar systems.
• Ability to manage complex relationships, identify business risks, and deliver results through cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to have

• Supply chain certification such as CPIM or CSCM.
• Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of lean techniques.
