Procurement Engineer (Automotive Manufacturing): Managing supplier and article master data, MRP-driven supplier orders, material deliveries, inventory levels, and component changes with an accent on supply continuity, supplier performance, and inventory accuracy. Focus on identifying supply bottlenecks, preventing excess inventory and obsolescence, and coordinating strategic supplier and logistics arrangements.

Location: Badr City, Egypt; onsite position

What you will do

  • Maintain supplier and article master data and process MRP results to generate supplier orders.
  • Track supplier deliveries, identify bottlenecks, and escalate shortage risks.
  • Optimize raw-material stock levels and prevent excess inventory and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate ordering and delivery of new components for technical changes.
  • Develop supplier relationships covering localization, consignment agreements, and logistics arrangements.
  • Monitor supplier delivery performance and support stock-take and cycle-counting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or material planning within manufacturing.
  • Fluent English required, with strong written and spoken professional communication.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and tracking tools.
  • Strong understanding of MRP logic and inventory control.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SAP.
