Procurement Team Leader (Automotive)

What you will do

• Manage and supervise the Procurement Management unit according to defined objectives and KPIs.
• Lead direct reports by setting objectives, assigning responsibilities, monitoring results, and supporting professional development.
• Ensure adherence to procurement standards, governance, and processes while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.
• Manage procurement activities at the production-facility level, including supplier integration, localization, consignment, logistics agreements, and delivery performance evaluation.
• Ensure accurate raw material supply and optimize inventory levels by reducing excess and obsolete stock.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
• 5–8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or material planning within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a proven leadership role.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, with strong professional communication and reporting skills.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and tracking tools.
• Strong understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) logic and inventory control.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP.
